The strength of the Auto model is comparable to the mains-powered Plugin model, or half the strength of a Cube.

The Auto model comes complete with its own plug for a 12 Volt, cigarette lighter style outlet found in most automobiles. The power consumption of the Auto is very small yet its effectiveness is far greater than you would expect. Small, lightweight, and easy to conceal,  the Auto comes complete with double-sided tape to enable it to adhere to any clean dry surface in your cab. Use alcohol to clean the mounting area to ensure a good seal of the 3M pad.

This unit is designed for people who spend a lot of time in their cars, such as truck drivers and anyone who commutes long distances, drives their cars professionally, or takes frequent long road trips. The strength of the Auto is lower than the home units, but higher than the portables. Its coverage radius is 6 meters (about 19.7 feet) in all directions, which easily covers your car, and some cars around you in traffic. It plugs into the 12 volt cigarette lighter in your car. For those who spend most of their days in the car, this unit is strong enough to establish the initial sympathetic resonance to Blushield frequencies, but for most people, it is better as an adjunct to their home unit.

If you choose to hardwire this item be sure to consult a professional to make sure the polarity is correct on the 12V plug so no damage will be done. Incorrect installation can lead to an electronic failure and is not covered by the warranty. Be sure to use the power cable supplied to avoid incorrect installation.

The plug may not go all the way into the socket this is normal and will have no effect on the performance or function. Forcing the plug into the socket may cause damage. Forcing the plug causing damage to the socket is not covered under warranty.
